Driver and Printer Setup
Table of Contents :: Index

The first step in using your DuraLabel PRO 300 printer to make Arc Flash labels is to set up the printer driver and calibrate the printer. The driver needs to be adjusted whenever you change the type of label you are printing or if you want to change print options.

Next, the printer needs to be set up. This must be done any time a new label material is loaded into the printer. Setup takes only a moment before you are ready to print Arc Flash labels.

Full installation instructions for setting up and calibrating the DuraLabel PRO 300 can be found in the user manual.

Driver Setup

Arc Flash labels often come in die-cut form. Changing a few driver settings allows the printer to print and cut accordingly. To access and change cutting preferences, go to: Start >>> Settings >>> Printers. Right-click "Graphic Products DuraLabel PRO 300" and select Print Preferences.

Make sure you are updated with the latest driver version.

Select the Stocks tab.

Step 1 - Set "Type" to Labels with Gaps.
Step 2 - Set "Gap Height" to 0.12 in.
Step 3 - Set "Gap Offset" to 0.00 in.

Click Apply to save your settings.
