Wire Wrap Labels

Wire wraps have an opaque white section and a clear tail. The white section is applied to the wire or cable and the "tail" is wrapped around it to cover and protect the printing on the label. Wire wraps may be applied to wire and cables that have already been terminated.

Wire wraps are available in three sizes, specified based on the size of the opaque area on the label. The available sizes are:
4" x 1.5",  4" x 1",  3" x 1",  2" x 1.5",  2" x 1",  1" x 0.5" and  1" x 0.25".

Wire Wraps are available for a wide variety of
wire and cable sizes.

In most cases these labels meet
EIA-TIA-606, BS EN ISO 60950,
FAA AC 43, 13A, and other codes
and standards.

Here are suggested wire wrap label
sizes for a few common wires and cables:
